The Anaheim Ducks hold an interesting spot in sports history. They are the only team whose conception was inspired by a movie. The Walt Disney Company established the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1993, and named them after their Mighty Ducks movie.

But the Ducks have made a better showing than their movie counterpart. During their history, they have made 7 playoff appearances, won one Pacific Division Title, Two Western Conference Titles, and brought home the Stanley Cup in 2007.
