Wisconsin Badgers

Football fans have proudly displayed Wisconsin Badgers apparel at the University of Wisconsin in Madison since 1889. Home games are played at Camp Randall Stadium with mascot Bucky Badger in attendance. The team’s cardinal and white colors are evident on the Wisconsin Badgers jerseys worn by fans in the stadium.

Undefeated seasons in 1901 and 1912 prompted fans to show off their Wisconsin Badgers t-shirts. The team won the Big Ten Conference title in 1952, 1959, and 1962. Supportive fans continued wearing their Wisconsin Badgers jackets even after their loss in the Rose Bowl each of those years. Excited fans wore their Wisconsin Badgers merchandise when the team played in the Garden State Bowl in 1981, Independence Bowl in 1982, and Hall of Fame Bowl in 1984. In 1994 the team won their first Rose Bowl as fans triumphantly tossed their Wisconsin Badgers hats in the air.

Wisconsin Badgers sweatshirts are worn by fans proud of their team and the awards earned. Linebacker and fullback Alan Ameche won the Walter Camp Award in 1953 and the Heisman Trophy in 1954. Running back Ron Dayne won the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, and Walter Camp Award in 1999. Left tackle Joe Thomas took home the Outland Trophy in 2006. The 2000 Jim Thorp Award went to defensive back Jamar Fletcher. Punter Kevin Stemke won the 2000 Ray Guy Award.
