USC Trojans

The University of Southern California (USC) is known for its prestigious sports programs and its intense rivalries with UCLA and Notre Dame. You will even sometimes see people wearing USC Trojans hats arguing with people who are wearing UCLA or Notre Dame merchandise. The USC Trojans are not only great at sports, but they also produce many successful athletes that go on to continue their sports careers in the professional leagues. You’ll see many people wearing USC Trojans apparel since USC is one of the most widely known schools in the country.

Everybody can remember the outrageous plays that a certain number 5 would make whenever he hit the field. Reggie Bush would juke one way to pass a defensive lineman, then juke another way to pass the defense’s secondary. He even flipped the ball up when he was tackled on the 1-yard line to one of his following linemen to have them score. USC was known for producing these types of people in their team rosters and they never failed to satisfy. This would explain why so many people are walking around with USC Trojans jerseys in order to emulate the stars such as quarter buck #7 Matt Barkley or running back #21 Allen Bradford.

A Trojan is a warrior that hails its origins from the city of Troy. The USC Trojans have an extensive history just like their mascot along with many rivalries with other schools. One of these is the long known annual encounters with UCLA over the Liberty bell. Before each of these games, USC fans can be seen sporting their USC Trojans sweatshirts and USC Trojans jackets to go out and watch USC trample the UCLA football team and take back the liberty bell. Their yearly bouts against Notre Dame are also known around the country as one of the greatest match-ups in college football. When football season comes around, the USC Trojans t-shirts are broken out and are worn around the country by fans.

USC is a great university with an even greater sports program. The USC Trojans aren’t known just for their football programs, but they also have a marvelous basketball, baseball, and volleyball program; each of these including women and men’s programs. Gaining 109 total team national championships, 89 of which were NCAA championships, USC is one of the most prestigious athletic schools in the nation. If you go to any of the sporting events at USC, you will be sure to see many students and fans showing off their USC Trojans merchandise to show everyone their Trojan spirit.
