LSU Tigers

The Louisiana State University Tigers are one of the most well respected football teams that play in the South Eastern Conference. The team first adopted its name in 1896. Because of the Tigers national success, purple and gold are instant team recognition. In total, the LSU Tigers have won three national championships, thirteen conference championships, seven division championships, and played in around seventy bowl games.
There are a number of players and coaches that made the team successful throughout the years.

There are six hall of fame players. They are Doc Finter, Abe Mikal, Gaynell Tinsley, Ken Kavanaugh, Tommy Casanova, and Billy Canton. Replicated LSU Tiger jerseys are sold to honor these players.
