May 20, 1971 Anthony Wayne Stewart was born in Columbus, Indiana. Better known as Tony Stewart, the race car driver has won titles in Indy cars, midget, sprint and USAC Silver Crown cars, as well as stock cars. He is considered one of the finest racers of his generation. Through the years this has helped the Tony Stewart apparel and other Tony Stewart merchandise to become very popular.
Stewart is the owner of his Number 14 Office Depot/Old Spice/Burger King Chevy Impala SS which he races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. After becoming a part owner of his own car this really saw the Tony Stewart jackets as well as the Tony Stewart hats to become popular. Too, the Tony Stewart gear and the Tony Stewart memorabilia matched the popularity.
After the ending of the 2008 season Stewart received a 50 per cent interest in the Haas CNC Racing. The name was then changed to Stewart-Haas Racing the following season. Aside from being part owner of his team Stewart also owns the Eldora Speedway in Ohio. He is co-owner of the Paducah International Raceway in Kentucky. Macon Speedway in Illinois is owned by Stewart along with several partners.
In 2003 he created the Tony Stewart Foundation. The purpose of the group is to raise funds to donate to help care for chronically ill children. This is a reflection of the true Tony Stewart.
