Toranto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are a Major League Baseball team which plays in the American League Eastern Division. The Blue Jays, who have been in existence since 1977, play in Toronto, Canada and are the only professional baseball team based outside of the United States. The Blue Jays play in the same division as the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, so they have a difficult time reaching the post season each year. Despite the competition, the Blue Jays won the World Series in 1992 and 1993, when they were led by Joe Carter. Because of the past success, Toronto Blue Jays apparel, including Toronto Blue Jays hats are commonly worn today.
Another piece of Toronto Blue Jays merchandise which are worn frequently today are Toronto Blue Jays jerseys. Toronto Blue Jays jerseys worn today largely hold the name of Hall of Fame players, including Roger Clemens and Rickey Henderson, who once played for the Blue Jays.
Due to the cold weather in Toronto, Toronto Blue Jays jackets and Toronto Blue Jays sweatshirts are commonly seen by fans walking the streets of Toronto. Since the Blue Jays play in the enclosed Rogers Centre, Toronto Blue Jays fans are able to comfortably wear Toronto Blue Jays t-shirts to the games.
